DAY 1 - Pick-up at Venice Airport and drop-off to the Hotel

BENVENUTO, WELCOME TO VENICE! After your arrival at Venice Airport, our driver will welcome you and transfer you to the hotel. CHECK IN at the hotel and enjoy some time for relaxation after your long journey to the “Floating City”. DAY 2 - Venice 3 hours' walking tour with private guide

ENJOY BREAKFAST AT THE HOTEL. After breakfast, you will be met at the lobby of your hotel by our expert guide and together you will stroll through the main areas of the “FLOATING CITY”, including the PONTE DI RIALTO BRIDGE, the fascinating side streets of the city, and the iconic ST. MARK SQUARE. Lunch will be on your own. Leisure time in the afternoon. We suggest to visit Venice Islands (Murano & Burano): known as the glassmaking capital of Italy, Murano’s glassblowing tradition dates back to the 13th century. Check out the glass jewelry as well as chandeliers and lamps that are unique to this region. DAY 3 - Leisure time in Venice

ENJOY BREAKFAST AT THE HOTEL. After breakfast, we recommend to visit one of the following places:

• Venice main island: take in the sights of this distinguished marble city situated over 400 bridges and 150 canals. Enjoy lunch on your own, whether you want to hustle and bustle of a busy plaza or a quiet side-street serving up authentic Italian fare. Visit “must-see” areas like St.Mark Square and Ponte di Rialto Brindge

• Venice Islands (Murano & Burano): Known as the glassmaking capital of Italy, Murano’s glassblowing tradition dates back to the 13th century. Check out the glass jewelry as well as chandeliers and lamps that are unique to this region. Burano, an archipelago of four islands linked by bridges, is a picturesque island known for its intricate lace artwork.

  •Vicenza, the City of Palladio: Famous for its 16th-century architecture by famed architect Andrea Palladio. Stroll its quaint streets to glimpse iconic architectural wonders and stop by the Olympic Theater to see a part of history.

DAY 4 - Transfer to Friuli Venezia Giulia

BREAKFAST and CHECK OUT FROM THE HOTEL. Morning at leisure in Venice. Around midday, you will be transferred to your accommodation located in the heart of FRIULI VENEZIA GIULIA REGION (transfer time: approx. 2h and 15 min.). CHECK IN at the hotel and enjoy some time for relaxation. DAY 5 - Aquileia and Grado full-day tour with private guide

ENJOY BREAKFAST AT THE HOTEL. After breakfast, you will be transferred to AQUILEIA, an artistic and historical treasure trove. It has been a UNESCO site since 1998 due to the importance of its archaeological area and the beauty of the floor mosaics that it safeguards. Among them, the largest and most well-known attraction is the BASILICA DI SANTA MARIA ASSUNTA, dating back to the fourth century. However, added to this are other precious mosaic remains from the Roman and early Christian ages, which make Aquileia a kind of capital of the Western Roman mosaic. With our expert guide, you will discover the beauties of cities, visiting the BASILICA, the MOSAICS, the CRYPT OF EXCAVATION and the BAPTISTERY. Lunch will be on your own. In the Afternoon, you will be transferred to GRADO, the Lagoon City of Friuli Venezia Giulia Region. Smaller than Venice, but with its fair share of charm and history, Grado is a town with 1600 years of history. In the narrow streets and small squares of the town centre you could breathe the history of what many know as the mother of Venice, given that Grado was founded in the Roman era as an important port in Aquileia’s port system. The historic centre is a picturesque maze of calli (streets) and campielli (squares), with traditional buildings dotted with stone walls, small windows, narrow stairways and distinctive chimneys. The urban fabric has remained unchanged over time, the typical face of an upper Adriatic seaside village. DAY 6 - Friuli Venezia Giulia food tour: cheese and Prosciutto di San Daniele

ENJOY BREAKFAST AT THE HOTEL. After breakfast, you will be transferred to a LOCAL AGRITURISMO located the Province of Udine (transfer time: approx. 1h and 15). From milk to cheese, this is an old and hard work that will give you the chance to learn the CHEESE-MAKING PROCESS and how this small family business became renowned for the production of quality cheese! After the tour, you will have lunch at the Agriturismo. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to SAN DANIELE DEL FRIULI, one of the “pearls of Friuli Venezia Giulia, for its smoked trout and above all for the inimitable taste of the ham it has been producing for centuries, with the help of a unique micro-climate. Here we will visit a local PROSCIUTTIFICIO (ham factory), where you will learn how this craft tradition passed down from generation to generation. During the visit, you will see the San Daniele hams hang in the curing and maturing rooms and TASTE this delicious and unique gastronomic delicacy. DAY 7 - Trieste and the Miramare Castle full-day tour with private guide

ENJOY BREAKFAST AT THE HOTEL. After breakfast, you will be transferred to TRIESTE, the capital city of Friuli Venezia Giulia (transfer time: approx. 1h). Here you will be met by our expert guide who will lead you through the main interesting points of the city: the RISIERA OF SAN SABBA, founded as a factory for processing rice at the end of the 19th century, was the only concentration camp in Italy equipped with a crematorium, PIAZZA UNITA’ D’ITALIA, the largest square facing the sea in Europe, the ROMAN THEATRE (external visit), at the foot of the San Giusto hill is one of the most striking remains of ancient Roman Tergeste, and the SAN GIUSTO CASTLE (entrance fee: € 2,00 per person), which offers stunning views over the city and the Gulf of Trieste. Lunch will be on your own. In the afternoon, we will visit the MIRAMARE CASTLE, the majestic white castle that overlooks the sea and is surrounded by a huge park full of rare and exotic tree species. • Private transfers during the trip: during the trip, the private transfers will be arranged by car/minivan. The car/minivan can contain max. 1x20/23kg luggage per person and 1x10kg hand luggage per person;

Italy is a popular destination for travelers and the availability may change while you are making your final decision. If any of the accommodations and services listed above are no longer available, we will do out best to place them with others of the same quality; however, the itinerary presented above includes the best options currently available. We recommend reviewing the program and returning your acceptance, changes, or rejection as soon as possible;

• The order of the day trips could be changed according to the supplier’s availability;

• If some suppliers/travel experiences are not available they will replaced by others

  PAYMENT:

  -30% deposit at the time of booking (non-refundable).
  -Balance 30 days prior to the departure date;
  -In case of refund, the refund costs will be charged to the customer.

  CONDITIONS & TERMS:

• In case of cancellation after the booking, the organizer will keep the amount equal to 25% of the price referred to Article. 6, paid pursuant to art. 5 and can hold an additional sum equal to 5% of the price paid, as penalty for the reimbursement of the cost of individual practice management, cost of insurance coverage required at the time of conclusion of the contract or other services already given, except, in each case, the claim of the major damage pursuant to Art. 1382, paragraph 1, of Civil Code;

• in case of withdrawal from 30 days to day of departure an amount equal to 100% of the price paid will be retained to the tourist.

• It is, however, expressly excluded - pursuant to art. 32, paragraph 2, Code of tourism - the right of withdrawal of the customer as provided for in Art. 64 and ss. Legislative Decree no. 206/2005.
